If you’re in Ottawa this coming weekend you’re in for a fantastic treat! Now in its third year, Mirror Mountain Film Festival aims to bring the best independent and alternative cinema to the nation’s capital. The passes are affordable. Twenty bucks will get you entry to all the programs. New this year are live performances that help set the stage this Friday night’s Passé Composé.
Mirror Mountain will exhibit local filmmakers and cross-over artists, which will open the festival Friday night at 7:30pm at Arts Court, 2 Daly Ave, Ottawa, ON. I’m looking forward to the program, Lines Drawn, on Saturday at 5pm. This program as the title suggests lines in animation and will screen an amazing local artist, Pixie Cram. But you shouldn’t really take my word for it, come see for yourself! And there are way more programs right until Sunday evening when awards will be given out.
Hope to see some local folks and friends this weekend!
